“The signing of a peace treaty is the key factor for regional unblocking, which all countries, except for Baku, support,” stated Areg Kochinyan, Head of the Research Center on Security Policy, during an interview with Factor TV. According to the political analyst, the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations depends on Baku’s consent and authorization, stemming from Turkey’s financial dependence on Azerbaijan.
Kochinyan also highlighted Armenia’s “homework,” emphasizing the need to strengthen its relations with the United States and France and elevate the country’s resilience across all sectors to a new strategic level.
