During the Sunday broadcast of First News, the President of the Research Center on Security Policy discussed the Armenia-Azerbaijan process and the obstacles to signing a peace agreement, highlighting the artificial demands imposed by the Azerbaijani side.
The political analyst emphasized the importance of expanding the EU mission in Armenia to foster further collaboration, including their involvement in reforms within Armenia’s security structures.
However, when addressing Armenia’s political orientation toward the EU, Kochinyan underlined the necessity of prioritizing the normalization of relations with neighboring countries. This, he argued, is essential for ensuring Armenia’s long-term stability in the region.
