Russia has distinct priorities in our region. In this context, Azerbaijan holds greater desirability and importance as a partner for Russia compared to Armenia. This fact is already evident.
The complete and final resolvement of the Artsakh issue and, consequently the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations is not advantageous for Russia. This is due to the potential significant reduction of Russia’s influence within our region, specifically in Armenia.
