The Republic of Armenia is not organizing an evacuation; rather, it is coordinating the reception of deported, forcibly displaced individuals. This distinction is crucial.”

“The internal political situation in Armenia must stabilize. Those who identify as the ‘opposition’ should refrain from engaging in street protests, at least until this crisis has passed.”

“Perhaps the biggest issue and shortfall of the Armenian political elite is their apparent unwillingness to assume political responsibility.”
