Prior notice was given that the manipulative and false statements made by Aram Manukyan during his appearance on news.am regarding the research report titled “The Republic of Armenia’s Main Dependencies on the Russian Federation: Threats and Solutions” are deemed unacceptable by the Research Center on Security Policy (RCSP).
Subsequently, the Public Television of Armenia extended an invitation to hold a debate on this subject between SPRC President Areg Kochinyan and the representative of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), Aram Manukyan. While SPRC President Areg Kochinyan accepted the invitation, according to the information available to us, the ANC representative declined the proposal to engage in this debate.
The Security Policy Research Center hereby declares that Areg Kochinyan is willing to conduct such debates not only with Aram Manukyan but also with all members of the Armenian National Congress’s board, in any format convenient to them — whether individually or collectively. Should the self-proclaimed “third force” possess even a modicum of intellectual capacity, we stand ready for debate.
