Areg Kochinyan, the president of the “Research Center on Security Policy” during the framework of the Armenian Forum for Democracy, took part in the “Democracy versus Security: Challenging the False Dichotomy” panel discussion as a speaker.
“The state should make both capital expenditures and serious reforms to raise the level of its resilience. This resilience encompasses not only military-political aspects, but also issues related to energy, border management, infrastructure, and media space: Armenia is suffocating because it needs reforms in all of these directions.
… “Reforms and their complexity are the best solution to the false dilemma of democracy and security in any state, especially in Armenia.”
