by RCSP

In the next episode of the “Dilemma” podcast dedicated to security issues, these questions are analyzed by Johnny Melikyan, Senior Expert at the “Orbeli” Analytical Center; Hasmik Meliksetyan, Caucasus Studies and Georgia Expert, and Areg Kochinyan, Head of the Research Center on Security Policy.

  • What developments are taking place in Armenian-Georgian relations?
  • Does Georgia hinder the supply of weapons and ammunition to Armenia?
  • Is there significant Azerbaijani influence in Georgia?
  • Is the delimitation of the Armenia-Georgia border currently relevant?

Hasmik Meliksetyan

In the context of the Georgia-Turkey relationship, alongside the considerable economic component, there exists a military factor that either remains obscured within the Armenian context or is actively circumvented. Johnny Melikyan

Nevertheless, the extent of sovereignty and independence of the Georgian authorities will significantly influence the alignment of these relations with Armenia’s national interests.”

Areg Khochinyan
