The next episode of the “Dilemma” podcast dedicated to security issues focuses on the Artsakh issue, the changes it has undergone in recent years, clarification of the term “Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict,” Azerbaijan’s objectives, Russia and the West’s position, as well as the question of whether there will be security guarantees for the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The guests of the program are historian Njdeh Hovsepyan and political scientist Tigran Grigoryan, President of the Regional Center for Democracy and Security. The conversation is led by Areg Kochinyan, head of the “Research Center on Security Policy.”
Nzhdeh Hovsepyan
“Today the Artsakh issue has unfortunately been transformed and become an Armenian-Azerbaijani issue, where the Artsakh question is merely an ‘attribute’ of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.”
Tigran Grigoryan
“Artsakh continues to remain the issue that hinders the signing of a peace treaty.”
Areg Kochinyan
“The Armenian-Azerbaijani problem’s fundamental, unresolved aspect continues to be the Artsakh issue. If it weren’t for this, I think we could reach an agreement within a few months.”
