Why did Armenia agree to Azerbaijan’s proposals? When will the treaty be signed? Will escalation be avoided?

RCSP president Areg Kochinyan gave an interview to journalist Zhirayr Voskanian, addressing the process of finalizing the peace treaty.

He noted that under the agreed terms, the EU observer mission will leave the Armenian-Azerbaijani border zone only if the peace treaty is signed and ratified. However, withdrawing from the border zone does not imply that the mission will exit Armenian territory altogether.
