On May 2, the Research Center on Security Policy NGO, in cooperation with the Union of Informed Citizens, organized a public presentation in Yerevan of the analytical report entitled “The Republic of Armenia’s Key Dependencies on the Russian Federation: Threats and Solutions.”
The co-authors of the research—President of the Research Center on Security Policy Areg Kochinyan and expert Robert Ghevondyan—presented the main sections of the study, which analyze the threats posed to the Republic of Armenia stemming from its dependence on the Russian Federation. These threats span across several critical domains, including economic, food security, infrastructure, energy, information, military-political affairs, and demography, among others.
At the conclusion of the event, participants engaged in a Q&A session, during which they discussed the presented analyses, policy recommendations, and potential solutions aimed at formulating and implementing strategies that enhance the Republic of Armenia’s security and sovereignty.
