During a televised discussion aired on Public TV, Robert Ghevondyan, expert at the Research Center on Security Policy (RCSP), presented his analysis on geopolitical developments surrounding Armenia’s Syunik region.
Ghevondyan emphasized that the presence of diplomatic missions in Syunik may contribute to the reduction of security risks. However, he noted that the opening of a Russian consulate in the region, in his assessment, may not bring additional value, but instead could introduce new risks.
