On Factor TV, Narek Minasyan, associate expert and political analyst at RCSP, discussed the key points of U.S. Secretary Rubio’s congratulatory message to Baku on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day.
He also addressed the Armenia–Azerbaijan peace process. According to Minasyan, the Azerbaijani side is trying to delay the signing of the peace treaty by putting forward preconditions, aiming to retain the leverage of exerting pressure on Armenia through force or the threat of force.
The political analyst emphasized that, unlike the Armenian side, Azerbaijan is taking no steps to prepare its society for peace.
