The Research Center on Security Policy and Boon TV have launched a joint initiative titled Dilemma, a program dedicated to issues of security and democracy. The show airs on Boon TV on Sundays at 9:00 p.m.
We present the first episode of the podcast, focusing on “Infrastructure,” featuring military-political affairs expert Armine Margaryan and Robert Ghevondyan, an expert from the Research Center on Security Policy. The discussion is moderated by Areg Kochinyan, head of the Research Center on Security Policy.
Robert Ghevondyan
“In terms of infrastructure, Armenia faces significant challenges, especially considering the strategic course that the Armenian government has adopted. This course aims at economic development for Armenia, which will entail resolving numerous issues, the foremost of which is enhancing security.”
Armine Margaryan
“Essentially, Armenia must decide on its direction. Will it continue as a member of the EAEU and CSTO, or will it seek a path toward European integration?”
Areg Kochinyan
“The first problem with infrastructure that immediately stands out is corruption. Another issue is inefficiency: Armenia remains an ineffective state when it comes to designing, building, implementing, and managing infrastructure projects.”
